The third edition of the student-run PUFF film festival is set to begin on 25 march 2026 at the Department of Electronic Media and Mass Communication (DEMMC). Expanding to three days to accommodate new undergraduate students, the festival will showcase 32 films, with a strong focus on independent cinema, across four screens: Arrakkis, Wakanda, Narnia, and Shawshank. This year’s event features special ten film categories and noticeable guests, including filmmaker Anand Krishnamurthy and Nishanth Kalidindi,. The festival will officially open with an inaugural ceremony at the arrakkis auditorium led by Anand Krishnamurthy and student coordinators with the first screening scheduled for Wednesday. The student coordinator for PUFF, Shifa and Nirmal will convey the welcome address and the presidential address by students representative Jaswanth S and Rinshida AK.
